Douceur de Geraldine

About

Douceur de Géraldine is above all a story of women. That of a woman in particular, and of several passions.
Géraldine used to say that it is not the manufacturer who leads the dance, but the nature and its components. It was after 12 years of professional experience in horticulture that Géraldine had the idea to give life to soaps and body care biological and artisanal that reflect her desires for women.

An artisanal soap factory, whose soaps are based on 100% natural vegetable oil, exotic butters, fine oils and essential oils.
Douceur de Géraldine proposes a range of soaps and body treatments that respect both man and nature: fresh and quality products, crafted in Québec, to delight your senses and plunge into a sweet bath.

Soft for the earth, soft for your skin
Douceur de Géraldine proposes a range of soaps and body treatments that respect both man and nature: fresh and quality products, crafted in Québec, to delight your senses and plunge into a sweet bath.

100% natural, 100% quality
Combinations, assemblies, emulsions ... to create alchemy, we have selected for you the best natural and organic ingredients from Quebec and elsewhere.

Thanks to 7 years of research and observation, we have developed care of incomparable quality. Shea, argan, essential oils and exotic fragrances: our products are assembled here in the country, artisanally and taking the necessary time, without additions of industrial ingredients.

Organic is good. Fair is better!
Many manufacturers now use natural ingredients to make their body treatments, and this should be welcomed. Geraldine's sweetness combines the love of nature with that of humans. Our ingredients are bought at a fair price, directly from producers, without unnecessary intermediaries.

By providing an equitable outlet for commodity co-operatives, such as, for example, African women who produce shea, we are acting doubly in favor of sustainable development:

    We participate in the development and improvement of the living conditions of producers;
    We encourage the production of natural ingredients and fight wild agro-industrialization.

Buying a fair product means buying the product for a reasonable and fair amount of money for the producer to allow him / her to have access to acceptable living conditions.

A fair product will be purchased by minimizing the intervention of intermediaries sometimes unnecessary and whose margin would unduly reduce the profit of the producer. For example, the shea bought at a fair price allows doubling the incomes of African producers. It enables them to improve their living conditions and those of their families.

By helping them reduce the poverty of their entire community, you are helping to empower women as actors of social change.
