Fair Trade Revelstoke

The Revelstoke Fair Trade Society's goal is to increase awareness of Fair Trade. Choosing Fair Trade products helps improve the livelihoods for people in the poorest countries of the world. Improvements include fair prices, social and economic premiums, fair and safe labour, environmental sustainability, access to credit, and long-term contracts for producers.

Revelstoke was designated a Fair Trade Town in December 2009. With this recognition, it is clear that people in Revelstoke care about the lives of workers in developing countries. When we choose Fair Trade Certified products we choose fair wages, healthy working environments, improved social services, gender equity, and sustainable environmental practices.
